THE
EMBRYOLOGICAL STAGES IN THE QUR'AN :
In the Name of ALLAH the Most Compassionate the
Most Merciful:
"We created
man out of dust/clay . then We placed him(her)
as a drop(nutfah) in a place of rest firmly fixed(womb)
. then We made the drop into leech-like which
clings:(attachment/implantation)/alaqah ,and We
made out of the Alaqah a lump of flesh(mudgah),
and We made out of the lump :bones and We clothed
the bones with flesh/muscles and We
developed out of it :another creature, so blessed
be ALLAH ,the best to create.."
(chapter 23 , verses 12-14)
THE FORMATION OF THE ORGANS AT 6 weeks pregnancy
IN A SAYING OF THE FINAL PROPHET MUHAMMAD(peace
be upon him) :
"When 42 nights(6
weeks) have passed over the Nutfa(fertilised egg/Nutfah
Amshajj),ALLAH sends an angel to it who shapes it(human)
and makes its hearing(ears),vision(eyes),skin,muscles(flesh)
and bones,then he says: O Lord is it male or female?and
your Lord decides( sex/gender of the baby) what
He wishes and the angel records it"
Amazingly all these
holy Islamic statements(development of the Embryo/organs
formation/Foetal stage) have been found to fit well
100% with the new medical discoveries in the science
of Embryology as taught in medical schools today.
